The institution has a vast collection of books and journals, for the staff and students to refer and gain knowledge. In order to serve and maintain order, a set of rules and regulation, is followed to benefit all.

Rules & Regulations
  • Students are prohibited from sub-lending the books.
  • The librarian may recall any book at any time even before the expiry of the normal period of lending.
  • Absence from the college will not be ordinarily admitted as an excuse for delay in returning the books on the due date.
  • If a student fails to return a book on the due date, a fine Rs.10/- for the first day and Rs.2/- for each day will be levied. Sundays and holidays are excluded.
  • A student, who fails to return the borrowed library book or to pay the fine in due time, will be liable to disciplinary action.
  • Books will be issued only on presentation of the identity card and library card bearing the name, class, departmental number and signature of the student. In case the card is lost the Librarian should be informed at once. No one is allowed to borrow books by producing other's library card. A lost card may be replaced by a duplicate card after one month on payment of Rs.100/-

  • A Student who wishes to borrow a book shall fill in an application form and present it at the counter between 12.30p.m and 1.45p.m
  • Books can be returned between 9.00am to 4.30pm.
  • A Student on receiving the book must examine it and report to the Librarian if any damage is found therein. Otherwise, they will be held responsible for any damage that is detected while returning.
  • Students are advised to handle the books with care. Disciplinary action will be taken against the students damaging the books in any manner.
  • Application must be made in the prescribed form for borrowing of reference books, journals, etc.
  • A book returned to the library should contain return slip showing the roll number of the student and the catalogue number of the book.
  • A student who has lost a book shall make a written report of it to the Librarian immediately. The lost book must be replaced by a new one before the date specified by the Librarian. Besides, any fine imposed by the Principal should be paid by the student who has lost the book.

Language Lab

The language lab at our institution aids communication support in English for the students to meet the market standards. It helps them fluently speak, write, and present their ideas through various mediums and train them secure jobs through interviews.



Separate hostels with a full proof security system is available for boys and girls at the campus with facilities like 24 hours uninterrupted power supply, pure water facilities, and an attached mess that provides hygienic food. The rooms are furnished with tables, cots, fans and attached baths.

Hostel Admission Process
  • Application for hostel admission shall be made in the prescribed form.
  • An applicant will be admitted in the hostel with the approval of the Warden / Principal.
  • At the time of admission, the applicant should remit the fee as prescribed by the college.
Hostel Rules & Regulations
  • The inmates are instructed to submit three identity cards for endorsement and approval of the Principal / Warden. This is to be produced during the visits of their parents / guardians / relatives.
  • At a time only two of the three persons holding the identity card will be permitted to meet the inmates and that too only on Sundays between 10.00am - 6.00p.m.
  • Any other person, not holding the identity card, strictly will not be permitted to meet any of the inmates.
  • Telephone facilities are made available in the hostel. The inmates should talk to their parents / guardians only.
  • All letter correspondences should be made by the inmates only through the knowledge of the “Deputy Warden”.

Sports Facilities

MPTC, ensures and stresses on a strong mind and body fitness for the students to excel in their endeavours. The following are the facilities provided to support holistic fitness,

  • Necessary sports equipments and a well maintained ground and space for regular practice.
  • Hand Ball, Foot Ball, Hockey, Volley Ball, ball Badminton, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Kho-Kho, Chess, Carrom, Cricket, Tennikoit, Badminton, are a few of the sports that students are trained with.
  • A 400 meter running track is also available for practice.
  • Regular summer camps, training for all kinds of games and sports.
  • Various exercises, advanced skills, techniques, and formations are being taught during the practice sessions.
  • Coaching camps are conducted by inviting special coaches from outside..
  • Intramural tournaments are conducted every year./div>
  • Prizes and certificates are given to the winners and runners-up and an overall championship trophy is also awarded to the winning team.

Sports Quota Benefits:

  • Uniforms are provided to the participants at free of cost.
  • The department provides ample opportunity for the students by sending them to participate in University, State, district and College level tournaments, and friendly matches.
  • Special prizes are offered to the University, State, and National participants.
  • Daily - travelling allowances for participants in tournaments with on duty.

ATM Facility

“Canara Bank” ATM facility is available 24/7, within the campus for the convenience of the staff, faculty members, and students.



  • A well furnished and spacious cafeteria is available inside the campus to cater to the needs of the students, staff, and visitors.
  • Meals and other refreshments are available in the canteen from 06:00 A.M to 07:30 P.M.

Internet Center

The college has merged with the information super highway by providing internet facilities round the clock; students and faculty can enjoy unlimited internet access with 50 Mbps bandwidth.

Medical Care

Medical facilities are available inside the campus to meet the health requirements of the staff and students.

  • Dr .M. Jaya Senthil Kumar., M.B.B.S., is the Consulting Physician.
  • Visiting Hours – 3.00pm to 5.00pm daily.
  • In case of Emergency, the students are taken to SFS Hospital or PM Hospital located near to our institution, through the institute’s self owned emergency vehicle.
  • Institute provides separate Emergency Vehicle for the above purpose.


  • A fleet of 49 buses are operated to offer pick up and drop facilities, for the Convenience of our faculty, staff and students.
  • The buses operate within a radius of 120 kms..
